Prof. Jiale Shi officially joined the University of Toledo Department of Chemical Engineering as a tenure-track assistant professor on August 24, 2026.
The Shi Group will develop physics-informed AI methods for polymers, biomacromolecules, soft materials, molecular interfaces, and related applications in semiconductor, healthcare, sustainability, energy, and gas separation.
